Snake Island Wrecks Day 3, Dive 1 - Saskatchewan (2014-08-28)
Day 3 of our dive trip and we decided to start by mooring on the aft line of the Saskatchewan. Once geared up and down to
the ship, we proceeded to head down Burma Road to the bow, then down one level and back towards the engine room. After exploring
much of the level, we entered the engine room and had a nice look around before we headed back up to Burma Road to exit the
mortar bay via the aft compartment. Then up the line to complete our deco.

Snake Island Wrecks Day 2, Dive 2 - Cape Breton (2014-08-27)
After a really nice lunch on the Sea Dragon, we headed back to the Cape Breton. I wanted to visit the machine shop and
try some adjustments to my camera gear, so we all headed down the mid-ships hatch into the machine shop where I got some
shots of the work bench. Then back on deck for a short 'follow the leader' dive in and around the Cape Breton before heading
back to the mooring line to complete our deco. Another awesome day's diving.

Snake Island Wrecks Day 2, Dive 1 - Cape Breton to Saskatchewan (2014-08-27)
I did not dive the wrecks Tuesday, as I had a prior committment to teach a drysuit course at Tyee. After the course,
I contacted Greg to find they had spent the day performing some gear maintenance, so we all anticipated diving again
Wednesday.
For the first dive today, I was to head off on our bearing to the Saskatchewan, with scooters following. However,
as we reached the deck of the Cape Breton, James had a flooded glove. Before heading back up, he handed me his scooter -
one of the really fancy Cuda X-Scooters. I clipped on and followed Greg and Dale as we scootered over from the Cape Breton
to the Saskatchewan. There we clipped off our scooters and took a little tour of the Saskatchewan, after which we retreived
our scooters and headed back to the Cape Breton to complete our deco.

For the second dive, we headed down to the Cape Breton, in the bow hatch and carried out a nice dive on the first deck,
from bow to stern and back. Then back for deco. An awesome dive.

Snake Island Wrecks Day 1, Dive 1 - Cape Breton (2014-08-25)
Greg Mossfeldt, Dale Demchuk and James Dixon arrived in Nanaimo for a week of wreck diving on Friday August22. That
day I was teaching an OW course in the pool. Saturday and Sunday I was teaching the OW course at Tyee in Nanoose Bay, where
I met Greg and friends doing some rebreather and scooter tune-up dives. By Monday,I was ready to join the gang for some
wreck diving off Snake Island.
We loaded our gear aboard the Sea Dragon and headed out on a lovely sunny day, mooring on the bow line of the Cape Breton.
After gearing up, we splashed - Greg and James took scooters and headed over to the Saskatchewan, while Dale and I entered
the Cape Breton and did the usual first deck penetration, exiting the large hatch just aft of the engine room where we met up
with Greg and James buzzing around us. Together we all headed back to the bow where we headed up to our deco stops and then
back on the Sea Dragon.
